GARY Megson claims both Johan Elmander and Kevin Davies can start the season in his first team.
The Wanderers boss is determined not to lose Davies, who has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Hull City.
Megson is hoping to convince the striker to extend his stay at the Reebok by another 12 months, and says the big-money arrival of Elmander this summer does not mean his first-team chances will necessarily be restricted.
“There is definitely room for both of them,” he said.
