Inspector Keiron Maddocks, of Greater Manchester Police's (GMP) Bolton South Neighbourhood Team, said: "This operation took around a month to put together and involved more than 40 officers from across GMP. It is a team effort between GMP and the wider community and without them we cannot take the action as we did this week.

"We will always act on information from the public but it may not be immediate as it takes time to plan for action to be taken."
