Harwood mums and toddlers 1975
It was pram-damonium after a new mums and toddlers group opened in Harwood in 1975.
As this photo shows, there were prams and buggies everywhere when the club met at Longsight Methodist Church Hall on a Wednesday afternoon.
Organiser Lorna Smallman told the Bolton Evening News at the time: The response to the club has been fantastic. Everyone seems very enthusiastic about it.”
We love the sign offering ‘orange for the kiddies’ and a cuppa for 10p!
