A Bolton road is set to be closed this Easter Bank Holiday weekend for manhole repair works.
Eskrick Street in Halliwell will be closed on March 30 for approximately one day.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Eskrick Street from its junction with The Glade for 150m in a southerly direction, for manhole repairs.

An alternative route for traffic will be in place via Chorley Old Road, Shepherd Cross Street and Darley Street whilst works are ongoing so residents can travel around the area with ease.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closures may cause.
